Laitetaas näin karkauspäivän kunniaksi tällainen naisia ylistävä kappale. Monethan ovat ehkä käyttäneet tämän päivän tilaisuutta hyväkseen ja kosasseet. Itse en aivan ehtinyt, sillä viime lokakuussa miesystävä ehti ensin...
En ole mikään suuri Euroviisu-fani, vaikka aina ne tulee katsottua. Yleensä suurin osa kappaleista on mielestäni samanlaista huttua vuodesta toiseen, vaikka kyllä sieltä aina erottuu joukosta helmikin, joka ei kuitenkaan sitten pärjää. Näin juuri kävi saksalaiselle Roger Cicerolle Helsingin Euroviisuissa vuonna 2007. Hänen Frank Sinatra -henkinen kappaleensa teki minuun suuren vaikutuksen. Äänestinkin sitä, mutta se pääsi vain sijalle 19, mielestäni se olisi ollut kärkikymmenikön joukossa. Laulun hän esitti saksaksi, mutta tykästyin enemmän englanninkieliseen versioon, se kun on paremmin mukana laulettavissa ja ymmärrettävissä. Tykästyin jopa niin paljon, että oli pakko ostaa kappale mtv3-storen kautta. Se oli ensimmäinen ja tähän mennessä ainoa kerta, kun olen ladannut musiikkia netistä (kappaleet kun tulee kuunnella levyltä;). Biisi on siitä asti kulkenut mp3-soittimessani, jossa se välillä mukavasti muistuttaa olemassaolostaan.
En ole feministi, mutta onhan tämä kappale ihana ylistys naisille. Mehän se olemme, ketkä tätä maailmaa pyörittää tai ainakin maailma pyörii meidän ympärillämme. ;) Video on saksankielisestä Euroviisu-esityksestä, mutta kuuluu siellä lopussa kertosäkeistö englanniksikin.
